We are in the fortunate position this year to have a team of experienced teaching staff working across the school to raise attainment. 

In this team we have:

 Mrs Marsh                                                      

(Challenge Leader of Learning – CLOL)      

Mrs Veitch                                                  

(Literacy Lead)                                    

Every term they identify children who would benefit from additional support with their reading and writing and give those children support, both in class and out of class. 

Mrs Veitch, Mrs Marsh and Miss Houston are supporting children with literacy this term. 

In addition to this our Raising Attainment Team support families through Seesaw activities and challenges. They also signpost families to resources and events that might be of interest throughout the year.   

Members of the Raising Attainment Team also offer training to other teachers and Support for Learning Workers to ensure all pupils are getting high quality learning and teaching in Literacy.
