Enrolment Procedures

Enrolment

For full information and enrolment forms see:  https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=18426

Prospective parents and carers are always welcome to visit the school throughout the year. They are informed about enrolment dates by letter, local advertisement and Press announcements.

If parents are not resident within the actual catchment area allocated, you can make a placement request - a guide and relevant forms are also on the Glasgow City Council website.

Children who have been enrolled for Primary 1 will be invited to take part in our Pre-Entrant Programme. This allows you and your child to be informed and involved and to become more familiar with the school.
We offer an exciting opportunity for all Nursery children to come and visit and take part in Balanceability lessons. Most of our Nursery children attain Level 1 Balanceabilty and go on to attain level 2 when in Primary 1.
During the two induction days the children meet their new classmates and teacher. The parents and carers are presented with:
  • informal workshops on language, maths, the importance of play,
  • general information about the school
  • a chance to look at some of the books and resources used.
  • Plus our children enjoy providing a fashion show to let you see our school uniform!
At all other stages new pupils are enrolled by transfer of information from their existing school dependent on space available.
