Stay connected to the classroom with Seesaw
Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what’s happening in the classroom. Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology. Each student gets their own learning journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings or notes. When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification, e-mail or SMS. Parents are only notified about their own child’s work and all data is safe and secure.
There are many benefits to using this app:
- Teachers/pupil will upload posts about learning and achievements in class.
- Class teachers can send messages and reminders to parents via the app.
- Children can share their home learning with teachers and peers.
- Parents can set up the app on their personal devices and access their child’s posts.
- Seesaw is private to each class; you will only have access to your own child’s profile. Children can share learning with their friends but this is only within the peers in their class.
Each child will be issued with their own personal QR code at the start of the session to access their Seesaw portfolio. Please keep all codes and passwords secure. For more information about the app, please visit https://web.seesaw.me
If you are having trouble with Seesaw or need a new QR code please contact your child’s class teacher.
